In a joint research paper titled ‘Alleviating cloud migration difficulties with robust hybrid-cloud and container security’, Kaspersky and ISG found that approximately 85% of surveyed organizations intend to scale up their use of cloud services over the next five years. This echoes the growing trend businesses are displaying to adopt cloud platforms. Moreover, companies are gradually moving toward containerized development models. Nearly 81% of respondents claimed that the adoption of containerization has improved the efficiency of their resources. Additionally, around 70% of respondents opine that containers facilitate seamless integration with CI/CD practices, allowing for automated testing and deployment.
In response to the increased adoption of hybrid cloud environments and containerized development models, organizations require robust security solutions capable of protecting every process inside their complex infrastructures. To meet this growing demand, Kaspersky has introduced its Kaspersky Cloud Workload Security ecosystem, comprising of two products: Kaspersky Hybrid Cloud Security and Kaspersky Container Security. Designed specifically to address security risks in cloud workloads, this multi-layered threat protection solution proactively defends the system against a wide range of cyber threats, including malware, phishing, and rogue containers during runtime. Furthermore, the ecosystem seamlessly integrates with other Kaspersky solutions, ensuring holistic coverage of customers’ cybersecurity risks.
Smooth cloud migration with cost-efficient out-of-the-box security allows customers to choose only the capabilities needed to protect all their workloads – whether physical, virtualized, or containerized – regardless of deployment location (private, public, or hybrid clouds). Kaspersky Cloud Workload Security ecosystem also supports ongoing regulatory compliance for cloud infrastructures.
Kaspersky Cloud Workload Security offers better, faster security checks, helping businesses to automate information security compliance checks and predict time-to-market for their products. Internal tests have shown that the ecosystem’s state-of-the-art technology can save up to 30% of virtualization hardware resources when protecting private clouds. This optimization ensures optimal performance without degrading of cluster performance.
“At Kaspersky, we recognize the critical importance of securing cloud workloads in today’s dynamic threat landscape. With the introduction of Kaspersky Cloud Workload Security, we are proud to deliver a solution that offers unparalleled protection and performance for our valued customers. By providing a comprehensive and cost-effective solution, we aim at empowering organizations to fortify their cloud security posture, safeguard critical assets, and maintain regulatory compliance effortlessly.” comments Timofey Titkov, Head of Cloud & Network Security Product Line at Kaspersky.
